Hi, I’m Julie Sundar, Chairwoman of the Codettes Foundation. As an accomplished software engineer with a deep passion for building inclusive tech communities, I’ve dedicated myself to empowering women and youth through technology.
My journey includes specialized training in digital fabrication from Fab Academy, recognition as a Chevron Fab STEM Fellow, and participation in the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative.

Imagine a future where young people—particularly girls—are confident innovators, creators, and leaders in technology. At Codettes, we don’t just imagine this future—we’re actively building it, one cohort at a time, through our InnoStarter Program.
What is the Codettes InnoStarter Program?
The InnoStarter Program is a unique, hands-on training initiative designed to introduce students aged 14 and up to the exciting world of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and innovation. Over the course of two inspiring months, students gain practical experience in electronics, robotics, digital fabrication, and creative problem-solving.
We believe strongly in inclusivity and equitable access, making a special effort to involve students from underserved communities who haven’t previously had opportunities to engage with technology.
