About Us
The Queer Voter’s Coalition (affectionately known as “The Other QVC”) is determined to make the Voter Registration process easy and accessible for everyone. Our focus is on young, queer populations who may not normally feel included in the conversation.
What we do
We seek to meet our queer family where they are living their lives…in the local clubs or neighborhood bars, at the Pride parades and rallies, maybe even a bathhouse or two! We come armed with clipboard, pens, voter registration forms, helpful information, and an encouraging smile.
What we stand for
We want a democracy where everyone’s voice matters. We welcome and encourage voter participation across the political spectrum. Our work is non-partisan. We are committed to empowering voters of every stripe to register and vote.
